Dear Raising A Reader Network,

All research points to the importance of starting literacy development as early as possible. While daycare centers and parenting groups may not be an option right now, RAR has developed a wonderful resource to get books into the homes of children 0-3. Our NEW Infant and Toddler Kits contain:

  • Six Bilingual Board Book
  • 1 High Quality Puppet
  • Bilingual Tip Sheet
  • Special Section on RAR’s Fab Fall Webpage

Give your families the tools they need to keep children engaged! Contact us for more information or a quote: rarinquiry@raisingareader.org.

At Friday’s Town Hall we heard an exciting presentation from our new partner, Guardian’s Collective. They have developed an app that will connect teachers and parents in “parenting circles” to share content, tips and advice. This valuable resource provides support and connection during this time of transition to virtual or hybrid instructional models. The Guardians Collective app will be a FREE resource available with the purchase of every Fab Fall Implementer Tool Kit. To learn more, check out the recorded version of the meeting and the slides.

As we approach Fire Prevention Week, this Friday’s Town Hall will feature a timely guest speaker, Jennifer Radics-Johnson of the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. If you have not signed up for our next Town Hall, Friday, September 25, you can register here.

Kindest regards,

The Raising A Reader team
